MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE BUSINESS:
As a Change and User Adoption Consultant (Consultant), you will be responsible for leading a team to design and deliver change management interventions for our global customer base when implementing Workday. You will build relationships with our customers, shaping and delivering change management and user adoption solutions that are aligned to customer needs, fit for purpose and commercially viable. You’ll provide excellent guidance to customers, understanding their business and requirements. You’ll support more junior members of the team and share your knowledge with them.

You will be responsible for:
• Leading all the end to end delivery of change management projects within a Workday environment by supporting clients in all of the following areas:
o Change & user adoption - defining the vision, understanding and capturing the impacts, assessing the readiness and providing the support and training needed to help people work differently
o Process re-design - understanding people’s needs, visualising how they engage with Workday, identifying moments that matter and ensuring changes being driven by Workday are being captured and documented appropriately
o Insights & analysis - measuring the effectiveness of Workday and providing insight to deliver the intended change both pre, during and post go-live
• Proactively leading and driving the development of a competency within the capability
• Supporting business generation and contributing significantly to the future growth of the Workday Business Unit
• Contributing to the development of commercial propositions, processes and documentation such as SOWs, RFQs, RFPs and ITTs
• Being an internal change advocate, promoting our offering and services and developing the capability within the organisation

MINIMUM (ESSENTIAL) REQUIREMENTS:
• Consultancy experience with a Cultural Change, Organisational Development and Engagement specialism
• Experience of leading change management activities for ERP implementations (SAP, Workday, Oracle) and supporting the re-design and delivery of Corporate Services Functions (e.g. HR, Finance, Payroll, etc) on behalf of an external customer
• Willing and able to support the sales process including the production of estimates for the delivery of work packages
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including business writing
• Excellent customer focus, able to assess customer needs, build relationships and manage customer expectations. You will know when to push back, when to escalate, and when to go above and beyond to satisfy a customer
• Strong communicator, able to communicate with customers and colleagues with impact, credibility and empathy, including in a remote working situation. Sound ability to formally present to senior Client audiences
• Strong commercial awareness and full understanding of project and business dynamics, with experience of delivering a project on time and in budget
• Commercial understanding of utilisation within a services organisation and the importance of these targets
• Broad business and technology understanding and a good awareness of industry trends in either Human Resource management, Financials or Enterprise Resource Planning or Payroll
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and make sensible decisions under pressure taking a balanced view of Customer demands and company commercials
• Ability to widen and maintain a network of external contacts
• Strong consulting skills e.g. presenting, leading workshops, demonstrating and explaining complex functionality or solutions to customers
• Willing and able to act as a role model within the capability and mentor and/or line manage more junior consultants
• Able to implement improvements in tools and/or processes to help the practice
• Able, if required, to travel to customer sites in the same region (minimal out of region travel may also be required)

DESIRABLE:
• Working knowledge of HCM, Financials or Payroll applications
• Evidence of supporting significant Transformational Change Programmes tenders and sales activities
• Evidence of thought leadership in the public domain

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:
Your role may or may not involve managing people. Where you do have direct reports your responsibilities may include:

• Agreeing, setting and reviewing your and your team’s goals aligned to the practice, Workday BU and your Capability
• Providing support so that your and your team’s goals can be achieved
• Reviewing and refining goals for relevance and to keep performance on track
• Reviewing performance against goals and provide feedback
• Conducting 1:1 monthly and/or project completion feedback meetings
• Requesting and providing regular feedback in Workday
• Completing End of Year reviews and agreeing the outcomes for the year
• Identifying training to support your and your team’s development
• Pursuing and supporting you and your team members’ career paths and progression
• Reviewing weekly workload forecasting (staff allocations and timesheet checks) and utilisation
• Actively being involved in recruitment/interviews
